As an educator, Peter has worked with students in a variety of musical and educational settings throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. His experience includes private lessons, substitute teaching, directing the Lenox Memorial High School band at Tanglewood, and teaching summer programs at the Berkshire Music School and St. Agnes Academy in Dalton, Massachusetts. These experiences have allowed Peter to work with students across a broad range of ages, musical backgrounds, and levels of experience.
Private lessons are crucial for the development of any musician. They provide personalized feedback, often missed in group environments allowing the student to grow musically while building and maintaining healthy playing habits.
Classroom Teaching
Peter teaches general music at the summer program at St. Agnes Academy in Dalton, Massachusetts and at the Berkshire Music School's Adventures in Music summer camp. He is also involved with the band program at Lenox Memorial Middle and High School in Lenox, Massachusetts, often teaching brass workshops.
